We know the photos, notes, and tracking records you upload are deeply personal - they're the little moments that make your house feel like yours. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to provide and improve the Corner Stories experience:

  • Account information you provide: If you create an account, we collect your email address, chosen username, and optional profile information you choose to add. You may also use the app offline without creating an account, in which case no account information is collected.
  • Content you voluntarily submit: This includes all home corner photos you upload, custom mood tags, seasonal notes, themed collection organization, corner version tracking records, side-by-side layout comparison data, and any other comments or metadata you add to your Corner Stories account.
  • Usage information: We automatically collect non-identifiable data about how you interact with the app, such as which features you use most often, loading times, and error reports, to help us improve performance and fix bugs.
  • Device information: Basic information about your device including operating system version, device model, and unique device identifiers only for the purpose of syncing your data across your devices if you choose to enable sync.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to provide and enhance your Corner Stories experience:

  • Operate the core features of the service: storing your photos, organizing your collections, syncing your data across your devices, and maintaining your corner version tracking records.
  • Improve existing features and develop new functionality: for example, analyzing popular tag categories to suggest better auto-tagging options, or identifying which layout comparison tools users find most helpful.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries or feedback.
  • Send you important service updates, such as changes to features or security notices. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time in your account settings.

We will never use your uploaded home photos or private notes to train artificial intelligence models without your explicit separate written consent.

You have full control over your data at all times:

  • Export a complete copy of all your Corner Stories data, including all photos, tags, notes, collection organization, and version tracking records, in a standard, machine-readable format, at any time, free of charge.
  • Edit, update, or delete any of your content or account information at any time.
  • Disable cross-device sync at any time, which will remove all your data from our cloud servers and store it only on your local device.
  • Delete your account entirely, which will trigger permanent deletion of all your associated data from our systems.

Data Security

We take the security of your personal memories extremely seriously, and implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 encryption for all communications between your device and our servers.
  • All stored content is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption.

  • Access to user data is strictly limited to authorized Fitro staff who need it to perform their job functions, and all access is logged and monitored.
